- (2) Bold Fall Mums & Wheat Floral Bush
- (1) Burgundy Mum Floral Bush
- (1) 27" Cream Fall Feather Reed Grass Spray
- Hot Glue
- Wire Cutters
- Before getting started make sure you gather all of the necessary supplies. A cemetery saddle for any occasion can be made using these steps below. A quick change of the floral bushes being used and you can create a saddle for any season.
- Tim got started by attaching the Styrofoam block to the wire saddle frame. The saddle frame has prongs on either end and you will simply stick the prongs into the Styrofoam. Then Tim secured it a little more by adding hot glue to the places where the frame is stuck into the Styrofoam.
- Next Tim began to add the Leather Leaf Fern to the Styrofoam. He added pieces to the outside edge of the saddle creating a skirt to hide the Styrofoam; adding a dab of hot glue to the end of each stem.
- Once the outer edge of the saddle had been filled in, Tim moved to inside the top of the Styrofoam. He used another 5-6 pieces of Leather Leaf to effectively cover the top of the Styrofoam.
- Now that the base is complete, Tim began to add the Fall Floral Bushes that were chosen. He clipped each of the Burgundy Mums into individual stems and added them to the saddle. He put one stem on each side and then the 5th in the middle.
- Tim then repeated the same process with the Bold Mixed Mums Bush. He cut each Bush into separate stems and then placed them throughout the saddle. Make sure you space out your stems enough to spread out the colors and have equal coverage throughout the Saddle.
- To finish off the Saddle, Tim began adding the pops of cream from the Feather Reed Grass Spray. He cut pieces off of the main stem and then added them throughout the Saddle.
- When you have finished adding all of the Cream Accents you can come to a stopping point. You will now have a gorgeous Saddle that can be use to honor your loved ones.
