DIY Pink & Black Halloween Teardrop
DIY Pink & Black Halloween Teardrop
This week our floral designer Tim created this fun & whimsical Pink & Black Halloween Teardrop. Spooky season is right around the corner and this is a fun take on traditional door decor for the Halloween season. We just love the bright pops of pink that he used when creating this piece. - To get started, first gather all of the necessary supplies
- Tim started this project by adding the Black Deco Mesh to the Teardrop base. He started at the top of the teardrop using the branches to tie the Mesh to the Teardrop. He created loops back and forth across the teardrop working his way down to the bottom.
- Once the Deco Mesh has been added, Tim began working on the Bow for the top of the Teardrop. He created a stacked bow using the the three chosen ribbons. He tied a four loop bow and then attached it to the top of the teardrop using floral wire. He did not cut the tails and instead looped them throughout the body of the teardrop.
- Next Tim began adding the floral accents. He used both of the Twirl Sprays in the mid sections of the teardrop. He cut the majority of the length off of the stem and then used hot glue to attach the clusters to the teardrop.
- He then added the Spikey Ball Spray to the top of the teardrop. He cut the majority of the length off of the stem and then used a bit of hot glue to the end of the stem to help secure it.
- Next Tim added the Pink & Black Bats Spray. He cut this spray into multiple sections and then used hot glue to secure it.
- The final floral accent that Tim added is our whimsical Spider Spray. He cut this spray apart into two sections and added them to the middle of the teardrop using hot glue to secure them.
- When you have added all of the floral accents you can come to a stopping point. You will have a fun and unique Teardrop to use throughout the Halloween season.
