DIY Spring Lily Memorial Cone

As the vibrant colors of spring start to bloom, our talented floral designer, Susan, has crafted a stunning tribute to the season with this Spring Lily Memorial Cone. Featuring the deep, rich hues of bright purple lilies paired with the soft elegance of white dogwood blooms, this arrangement captures the essence of renewal and remembrance. Perfect for commemorating a loved one or adding a touch of beauty to any occasion, this floral masterpiece is a gentle yet striking reflection of nature’s seasonal beauty. You can create one of your very own using the steps and supplies listed below

Supplies needed:

  • Before getting started, make sure you have gathered all of the necessary supplies. You can recreate this Memorial Cone using any variety of Floral Bushes.

  • Susan began this Memorial Cone by cutting some of the length off of the main stem of the first Purple Lily Bush. She did not cut these into individual sections; she left the main stem intact and then pushed that down into the middle of the top of the Styrofoam. She also spread the stems out a bit by just pushing them apart.

  • Next Susan cut multiple stems off of the second Bush; she kept these stems shorter and placed them around the outer edge of the top of the Styrofoam. She used hot glue on the end of each stem to help secure them.

  • Then she cut apart the Dogwood Bush into individual stems and then placed them throughout the Cone.

  • Then once she had the overall shape set she worked her way through filling in any holes with the remaining Dogwoods and Lillies.

  • To finish off this Memorial Cone, she added a skirt of Leather Leaf Fern to the base of the cone. This Leather Leaf can also be placed throughout the cone if you would like to add more greenery.

  • When you have finished adding all of the components you will have a stunning Memorial Cone that can be used throughout the Spring season to honor your loved ones.
