DIY Easter Moss Wreath

This week our floral designer Tim created a gorgeous Easter Moss Wreath that is big, bright and airy. We just love the use of the big bow and all of the wispy florals. This is the perfect wreath for Spring & Easter. You can create one of your very own using the steps and supplies listed below.

Supplies needed:

  • Before you get started make sure to gather all the necessary supplies. Remember, you can alter any of the florals, accents or ribbons to fit your personal style or taste.

  • To get started, Tim cut the Rice Greenery Bush into individual pieces and began adding them to the left hand side of the wreath. He placed some on the top portion of the wreath and then some of the bottom portion of the wreath. This created a wispy base for the rest of the wreath.

  • Next Tim cut the majority of the length off of both of the Yellow Flower Sprays and put both of them into the wreath. One was placed in the center of the top Rice Grass and the other in the bottom Rice Grass facing down.

  • Then Tim cut the Pink Flowers Spray apart into individual sections and placed them throughout the top and bottom sections. Remember to add hot glue to the bottom of each stem that you add to the wreath.

  • Tim then added the Easter accents. He cut the majority of the stem off of the Bunny Spray and made that the focal point of the left hand side of the wreath.

  • Then Tim added the Easter Egg sprays to the wreath. He cut each spray into individual sections and placed them throughout the wreath.

  • Tim then began to work on building the bow for the wreath. He made a single loop bow and a two loop bow out of the 4" Lime Green Ribbon. He then made a two loop bow out of the Daisies Ribbon and a three loop bow out of the 1.5" Pink Plaid Ribbon. Once all of these were tied he layered them together and secured them to each other using the floral wire they were tied with. He then tied the bow to the wreath on the right hand side.

  • When you have finished adding the bow you can come to a stopping point. You will have a gorgeous Easter Wreath that can welcome friends & family throughout the season.
